Expect an association backlash against the Trump administration directive to federal agencies forbidding the use of seven words or phrases in official documents and communications.

Those words or phrases are: Evidence-based, science-based, fetus, transgender, diversity, entitlement, and vulnerable.

Medical associations, in particular, are amazed at the suggested alternative terms, such as the one offered to the Centers for Disease Control: "CDC bases its recommendations on science in consideration with community standards and wishes."

So much for medical research.
